Alan Browning was invited by the Avectra Users Group to make a presentation and participate on a panel discussion on the subject of IT and AMS strategic planning. The focus of the presentation was to describe why IT strategic planning is important, the steps in the assessment and planning process and the key questions about the current environment and infrastructure that should be answered before preparing the plan. Other panelists included representatives from Sigma, Theta Tau, International and the Emergency Nurses Association.
